Top-Up Bachelor's degree

Top-up transfer to British public universities is an educational credit system used in developed countries with advanced education systems such as the UK, Switzerland, and Singapore. Through an agreement with an accredited institution, students can obtain a formal degree by studying only in their final year at the university. It is a system that exists.

The online top-up program is a process in which students transfer to our school after completing a diploma appropriate for each level through the HND (Higher National Diploma) course. HND is an official curriculum of the British government and is an overseas credit bank course operated by Pearson Group, the world’s leading education/testing organization.

The global education market is also rapidly changing following the pandemic caused by COVID-19. The United Kingdom, which has an advanced education system, has established the necessary systems well before the pandemic and is operating online degree programs that can provide higher quality classes.

In addition to local study abroad courses at British universities, we offer a variety of online and offline programs, and provide individually tailored programs through a high-quality curriculum by professional educators to ensure efficient online learning. Additionally, if students wish, they can directly travel to the UK to study at a local university for the second year of the top-up course.

Why UK?

Britain, the home of the English language, has a long history and is the world’s 5th largest economy. British universities, along with American universities, have a world-class education system, and British degrees are recognized worldwide.
Unlike the United States, the UK implements a 1-year, 3-semester system. Except for some courses, the UK offers a bachelor’s program (3 years), a master’s program (1 year), and a doctoral program (3 years), so the total period of study abroad is limited. It has the advantage of saving money on tuition.

Finding Thesis, Understanding Context, Academic Research, Paraphrasing, Referencing, etc. are sufficient to write a paper.
It is a skill that must be acquired through training. The reason why a British bachelor’s degree is valued more highly than diplomas from other countries is because the degree is awarded with a ‘Degree with Thesis’ diploma that also includes a thesis. The thesis required for a bachelor’s degree in the UK is relatively short, but for Korean students who are not yet familiar with it, it is the biggest barrier to graduation.

In British universities, the relationship between professors and students is horizontal. Rather than unilaterally delivering knowledge to students and giving them assignments and tests for their own lectures, we provide education in which students compete with each other and solve academic problems on their own. Providing help before a student requests it is considered unnecessary interference, and emphasizes the importance of study habits outside of class rather than lecture content.

In the UK, academic evaluation is based on theoretical standards for completion of the subject rather than the absolute authority of the professor. Therefore, it is not enough to take assignments and tests based solely on the professor’s lectures and the contents of the textbook, and you must obtain information on your own through the Internet, libraries, statistical surveys, etc. For Korean students who study through cramming, it would be a very difficult task to study information and knowledge other than the textbooks and lectures given. In the information age, we must learn methods and abilities to acquire views and knowledge outside of the given framework.

O2O (Online to Offline) education is a new educational paradigm currently being implemented in universities across Europe and the United States, including the UK. You can quickly and easily obtain the necessary knowledge and information through an online platform. Lectures by Harvard University professors and Yale University thesis materials can also be obtained in Korea through MOOCs and other online platforms. All assignments and learning contents can be easily viewed on an online platform, and classes tailored to each student are run offline through professors and an academic environment. This O2O teaching method is a learning environment that many Korean students must become familiar with in order to become global talents.
