Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) currently has over 8,000 students enrolled and has continued to grow since gaining university status in 2007. Originally established as a Science and Arts School in 1893, Buckinghamshire New University is renowned for offering many unique courses, including: Policing and award-winning air transport through commercial pilot training.

Most undergraduate and postgraduate students live at the main campus in High Wycombe, while the smaller Uxbridge campus houses medical and nursing faculties.
